Olena Bokareva
Senior Lecturer in Law, Lund University

Olena Bokareva holds a doctoral degree and a master’s degree in maritime law from Lund University. Her research focuses on maritime and transport law, EU law and civil liability frameworks, with particular emphasis on shipping liability, maritime decarbonisation and compensation mechanisms in the transport sector.

Gabriela Argüello
Associate Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Gothenburg

Gabriela Argüello holds a doctoral degree in maritime and transport law from the University of Gothenburg and a master’s degree in maritime law from Lund University. Her research focuses on the law of the sea, international environmental law and ocean governance, with particular emphasis on marine pollution, ship-source emissions and the legal dimensions of offshore energy transitions.

Anıl Öztürk
Postdoctoral Researcher in Law, Lund University

Anıl Öztürk holds a doctoral degree in law from Maynooth University and a master’s degree in international and comparative law from Trinity College Dublin. His research focuses on comparative law, the regulation of emerging technologies and liability frameworks, with particular emphasis on autonomous systems, maritime liability and the governance of carbon capture and storage.
