Sustainable Carbon Capture, Transportation and Storage: Liability and Governance in Light of International and EU Law

Home

This research project examines the legal and governance frameworks governing carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies, with particular emphasis on liability allocation and regulatory coherence across international and EU law. As CCS emerges as a critical climate mitigation technology, questions of legal responsibility, cross-border coordination and long-term environmental accountability remain underexplored.
